Leros produces very good wine. The soil is fertile and the sun seems always to be shining.
The local wineries offer high quality wine with a full rich taste.
You will have the chance to see the whole process of winemaking in the winery of Hatzidakis. The vineyard, the picking, the crushing and the fermentation, the whole process from the grape to the barrel will be explained from Mr Giorgios Hatzidakis himself. Of course you can try the different kinds of Iokallis wine, red and white, and as Greek hospitality requires they are served with local mezedes.
