It has plenty of diving points in and around Bodrum for professional divers and those who are intending to dive for the first time.Great Recepsion: 20 minutes by boat and it's depth is 28-32m. You can have a chance to encounter with leer fish, grouper, white grouper, dentex, etc.Small Recepsion; is 200m. away from the great recepsion. It is popular for scuba diving schools. The fishes swimming around the great recepsion can be seen here.Kargı Island: One and a half hours away by boat. It is off shore to Akyarlar's fore-land and the closest point from Turkey to Kos Island. There is a lighthouse on the island and the most beautiful diving point of Bodrum as you can meet various kind of fishes.Kocek Island: A small rocky island between Kargı Island and Bodrum. Baracuda and Black Bream are mostly seen. Crustaceans such as Triton and Pina can be found.The Bay of Karaada-Kacakcı : It is located at the back side of Karaada Island. It is generally preferable for scuba diving training. There is a cove which spreads 40-50 meters towards the inside of the bay, the depth of the water being under one meter is preferred amongst the diving instructors.Karaada-Delik Cave: It is in direction of Kos Island of Karaada. It consists of two underwater caves. First cave is under 15 meters and has a very narrow entrance. The second cave is 20-30 metres away from the first cave. The width of its entrance is 12-14 metres. Scorpion Fish, Lobster, Black Screw are likely to be seen in the cave.Karaada-Aksona Foreland: It is in the direction of Gokova of Karaada. There is strong surface current some times during the season.Yassıkaya Island: It is located in the south of Karaada. It is not suitable for diving at the side of Karaada because it is shallow and mossy. You may probably see Lobster, Moray Eel, Octopus, Grouper and White Grouper.Orak Island  Foreland: It is one and a half hours away from Bodrum and is in the Gokova Gulf. It has a topographic structure that is suitable for wall diving lovers. Each diver enjoys seeing purple sponges in the caves at 32-34 meters deep and has an interesting underwater wall at 65-70 meters deep.
