Agni is possibly one of the best places on the island to enjoy an afternoon having a delicious fish lunch with a chilled bottle of crisp white wine. It's worth the journey up to the north east coast. It has a small pebble beach but the waters are crystal clear and just invite you in for a cool off dip on those hot summer days. This is an area of Corfu fondly remembered by Gerald Durrell and it's also a popular stop of point for some seriously expensive super yachts. The rich and famous know where to enjoy lunch. You can also reach it by small motor boat, it's a very good way of getting there. Gets tad busy in the summer so sometimes good to book lunch ahead.
