Rhodes Town is an amazing place. Much bigger than you might expect but nonetheless a very spectacular place to stay or visit. The most impressive place to visit has to be the old town, a walled fortress dating back centuries but still in action these days where you can lose a whole afternoon and evening, walking round the ancient streets, browsing the many shops and sampling the bars, restaurants and cafes.

There's plenty outside the old town as being a cruise stop the city itself is bustling, it has a couple of decent beaches and some of the best hotels on the island. Maybe not a place for a 2 week break but good for a few nights and defo worth a day trip.
