The Capital of the Island and home of Patron Saint Dennis or Dionissos as the locals say. As you'd expect its a bustling town with a bust port and marina where the mainland ferries to Kilini run to and from. There's lots to do in and around town - visit the famous church of St. Dennis where he was laid to rest on the 24th August, the busiest day of the year in Zante Town as locals and tourists recreate this landmark event. There are some great tavernas, restaurants and bars in town as well as plenty of shops which all branch off the main square which is a vibrant part of the town. If you enjoy great views there is a restaurant behind and above the town called the panorama where as the name suggest enjoys the best views of town and possibly the island.
