Kokkini Hani is a little resort on the North Coast of Crete just a short drive from the airport. Originally a small fishing village but became popular when the locals from nearby Heraklion started using it as weekend retreat. It is not overly picturesque but has a beautiful sandy beach, a few bars and some nice tavernas.
