The village of Tragaki lies close to the north east coast of Zakynthos in Greece’s Ionian group of islands.

Tragaki enchants visitors with a unique combination of natural beauty and developed amenities. This resort boasts plenty of hotels and a variety of dining options, including traditional Greek tavernas. Its mountainous setting, just 11 kilometres north of Zakynthos town, is also home to olive groves and vineyards, two of the great symbols of Greek culture.

Several beaches are in easy reach, including Amboula beach, Bouka beach, Planos beach and Tsilivi beach, nearby the Monastery of Spilia honours the discovery of an icon of the Virgin Mary onsite. Cars and bikes are available for hire to help you to visit these other regions and tourist attractions.

Don’t think such an unspoiled hamlet will be a bore for the kids though. Tragaki is closely situated to the Water Village, which features slides and rides galore as well as tubing, swimming, mini golf, shopping, and dining, making the town an excellent base for a family holiday.
