Marvel at the stalactite and stalagmite formations of the Caves of Hams on a tour of the first caves to be opened to the public in Spain. Depart from the south of Mallorca, and cross the "Sea of Venice" before going to the Pearl Exhibition. A journey by air-conditioned bus to the Caves of Hams (Coves dels Hams), located about 60 kilometres to the east. Hear information about the places you will pass from your guide along the way.

Discovered in 1905, the Caves of Hams were the first caves opened to the public in Spain in 1910. Upon arrival, follow an itinerary of nearly 1 kilometre around some of the most spectacular parts of the caves and galleries. See the underground lake known as the "Sea of Venice," where you will watch a musical show that illuminates the stalactites and stalagmites to spectacular effect.

Stop at the Pearl Exhibition area to learn more about this important industry, and get to know the process of producing artificial pearls that reproduce the colour, shape and characteristics of real pearls.
