An excellent excursion to the impressive monasteries in Meteora, made famous by its appearance in the James Bond film 'For your eyes only'.
Here you spend your time viewing the interior of one of the monasteries and the important collections of manuscripts, icons and Holy relics. Stopping at nearby monasteries where you will have time to take photographs.
We then visit the town of Kalambaka for lunch and then drive to Metsovo
a traditional mountain village. Metsovo is situated at an altitude of 1156m and
has a village square with shops that sell traditional products, and the
infamous wines and cheeses. Free time is given to explore the village.
The journey is one of the most scenic in Greece so make sure you take your camera!
