On this trip through the south of the island you will discover the most authentic flavours of the island of Tenerife and its admired and renowned wines.
We will begin our day with a visit to a banana plantation: Finca Las Margaritas. There you will learn how is the cultivation of our star fruit, the banana. You will make a tour through the farm in which they will explain how the banana was grown in the past, how is the elaboration of the well known Gofio, and you will do a tasting of products made with banana, gofio and palm honey, as well as other tropical fruits.
Our second stop will be one of the most renowned wine cellars on the island: Cumbres de Abona. In this cellar we will make a guided tour around its facilities, its machinery and you will learn everything about its wine making process. At the end of this visit we will do a tasting of wines and artesanal oil.
Finally, we will continue our journey enjoying the wonderful views that the mountain roads offers towards Vilaflor. We will arrive at Bodegas Reverón, another of the most renowned wine cellars on the island, where in addition to a wine tasting we will try typical Canarian products such as almogrote (in all its variants). To end the tour, you will enjoy a delicious lunch with Canarian products.
