Playa de las Teresitas beach is almost one mile long, it sits below the Anaga Mountains and is just outside of the capital Santa Cruz in the village of San Andrés. It has beautiful calm waters and is a great place to chill out and enjoy the sunshine, which is why it’s known as one of the most popular beaches in the north of Tenerife. As the beach has such a good reputation it can become quite busy, especially at weekends, but despite this Playa de las Teresitas remains unspoiled. There is always something going on here too, whether its volleyball, yoga or aerobics. There is also good facilities, with plenty of sunbeds, showers & a selection of bars and restaurants just next to the beach.
