Tasomanolis Fish Restaurant was once one of Plakias’ first tavernas. In the end of the 70’s Manolis and his wife Eleni built their house next to the sea. Manolis has been a fisherman all of his life, just like his father and grandfather. And Eleni, who always has been a specialist in the Cretan kitchen . The daily fresh fish which arrived in this kitchen was the base of a great combination and the very beginning of Tasomanolis Fish Restaurant.

They had three children; Evi, Tasos and Adonia. As the years passed by, they continued the work of their parents. Today, Tasos and his Belgian wife Lisa are now the ones who do their very best to serve the freshest fish and most delicious seafood dishes. Also Manolis still goes out fishing, so this is the place to be, to taste local fish from Plakias!

Also Tasos is the man who organizes beautiful boat tours & fishing trips along the South Coast. In his tavern it’s his pleasure to welcome you, drink a raki together & inform you about his boats and tours.
