The date promenade is the main street of Larnaca. Beautiful, well-maintained promenade, municipal beach, awarded the “Blue Flag”, restaurants, taverns and cafes for every taste!
They say that in the 20s of the last century, when the embankment was planned and arranged and date palms were planted, the famous embankment in Nice was taken as a role model.
It is here, on the main promenade, holidays and concerts of Larnaca take place. A bus depot adjoins Phinikoudes, from here you can get by public transport not only to the villages of the region, but also to other cities of southern Cyprus.
