Unquestionably the most photographed beach on the island, with its wide golden sands, set in a sheltered bay and excellent facilities stretching for nearly a kilometer in length. Sunbeds and parsols to rent along with a selection of watersports and selection of beach bars. The beach is backed by the islands wetlands bird sanctuary with a small selection of walking trails. At the far end there is the marina where you can catch a water taxi to Skiathos town. Car parks located at either end of the beach or catch the bus and get off at bus stop 26. Sunbeds are charged at 8 euro for two beds and a parasol for the day.
