Located on the west side of Corfu where the beaches are well known for having golden coloured sands and lively sea, Pelekas due to being in a horse shoe bay offers the golden beach but with calmer, shallow waters.
Descend through the hillside decorated with pine trees and olive groves to the welcoming beach at the bottom. They offer sunbeds and loungers to rent but you can also take your own if you wish. The beach is clean and with its shallow waters it pleases all ages and abilities of swimmers. For the more adventurous the is a small area of rocks and cliffs to explore. The crystal clear waters offer a great opportunity for snorkelling or simply relaxing.
