Kaisers throne situated 2km from the village of Pelekas, perched on the hillside.
Built between 1908 and 1914 is was the original location Kaiser Wilhelm II wished to build his palace before buying the Achilieon Palace. Instead he built himself a throne at the highest point of Pelekas. During the time he spent on he island it was one of his daily occurrences to visit his throne where while drinking a glass of the finest wine he would marvel as the sun set on the west coast.
Visitors to have his opportunity, be king or queen for the day while sitting on the throne watching one of the most impressive sunsets and the 360 degree view of the island of Corfu is not to bad either.
