Conveniently located between two beaches, Parque de Elche is a small park decorated with palm trees and fountains. This is a great place to escape the heat of the seaside. Take a rest on one of the benches in the shade. If you go during the evening, there may be dancers or guitarists, and the fountains are lit up with colorful lights. Take some bread or nuts, or purchase some from a vendor, to feed the dozens of white doves that frequent the area. The birds are so friendly that they'll land on your head and shoulders while you feed them.
