Wine In Azores

WINE IN AZORES will be held on the island of São Miguel, Azores, Portugal, on October 20, 21 and 22, 2017. The event will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Octber 20 and from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (test zone) on the remaining days. After the end of the testing zone, the wine-growing area, Gin Tasting and wine sales will continue to function until midnight. It is the biggest and best business event of the Azores, being placed among the biggest and best events of the specialty in Portugal. It is in essence a wine promotion fair where the most charismatic wine producers of Portugal come to give their products to the test.The presence of more than 13,000 visitors and more than 130 exhibitors in the year, marked the positive and contradicted all those who were not expecting an event of this size in the Azores. The presence of more than thirty media, mostly from mainland Portugal and abroad, was fundamental to transform this event from the area of wines, meat, fish and gourmet products into one of the three most important in the country. The presence of countless tourists from the most varied origins and of several wine and wine lovers, made the delights of the exhibitors.
