This is the most famous beach of Lefkada. Katsiki means goat in English. Named because only the goats cold ever get there. Fortunately we have steps now. This is worth a visit in any time except August. Its naturally beautiful but crazy busy in high season. Boat trips have been banned because they bring too many people at once. It's one of those beaches that looks great from above but is like any other beach when you've climbed down over a hundred steps. No facilities on the beach so if you go take a packed lunch or your own food. It's a long way back up for a bottle of water. A photographers dream at sunset time.
