La Granja Park lies between the streets of Avenida de Bélgica, Avenida Madrid and Avenida Benito Pérez Armas, and is one of the most popular parks Santa Cruz de Tenerife has to offer, alongside García Sanabria park. The park is over 64,000 square metres, so roughly 16 acres. It is the ideal place to get some exercise, take a walk, have a picnic and much more. La Granja Park is extremely family friendly and is the ideal place for a nice day out with your whole family. The park is home to several exotic species of tree such as the American walnut tree, the Ombu tree and clusters of Royal Palms. There is also a sculpture in the park, in memory of the documentary maker Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, which was created by María Belén Morales. There are also plenty of picnic tables and benches, sports and exercise facilities, a children’s playground & a play area for pets.
