The rabbit Island (St. Apostle Island) is the name given to a small island that separates the bay into two parts.Rabbit Island (St. Apostle Island) is the name given to a small island that separates the bay into two parts. Most of the visitors step on the ruins of Myndos to get this island. You can wade through the sea to get the island. When you reach the top you will see the structure of the Apostle Church from the 2nd century BC with basilica plans, the narthex (main venue), and the columns which are allocated to open each door of the church. The ruins found here belonged from the 6th to 12th century. Another important feature of the Church of St. Apostle is that it was built at the same period and had the same architecture with Hagia Sophia which was built by the Byzantine Emperor Justinian I (532 – 534) in Istanbul
